About the Panelists
Aaron Davis is the Founder and CEO of RipeMetrics, a customer experience and retention platform that enables cannabis companies to collect, manage and analyze customer feedback and turn it into actionable data.
As a strategist, speaker, and author in customer loyalty and cause marketing, Aaron recognized that many cannabis companies were failing to deliver a superior experience and weren’t seeking customer input. He identified that the key to success in this saturated marketplace is differentiation through customer experience. Therefore, he created RipeMetrics, which enables companies to collect valuable feedback, respond-to-and-rectify poor experiences, drive retention and deliver targeted messaging to customers based on their purchasing habits. The potential of the RipeMetrics service offering led it to be accepted into the respected Canopy canna-business accelerator.
Aaron brings a vast set of experiences to RipeMetrics. After spending more than a decade working in various management, marketing and sales capacities in the merchant services industry, Aaron’s curiosity propelled him to co-found a few start-ups throughout his career. He brings his consultative style of leadership to the company and utilizes his strong skills in business development, branding, customer acquisition, sales and marketing. As a natural leader and adept problem-solver, Aaron is poised to revolutionize the ways in which cannabis companies engage with their customers.
Christian is a leading executive in the programmatic advertising industry. He is the founder and CEO of Traffic Roots, a digital advertising network that is bringing digital advertising to the cannabis space. Christian brings leading industry ad network experience and methodologies to help the cannabis brands and publications expand their digital marketing needs.
In a previous role, he has served as COO at an advertising network. His industry experience brings true monetization strategies as well as technical advantages to the cannabis community. Traffic Roots is proving what Google, Facebook, and Bing cannot provide to the cannabis industry. Digital marketing at scale through a self serve ad platform.
MJ Hybrid Solutions
Melissa Jane (MJ) Stapley, founder of MJ Hybrid Solutions, started her journey in the cannabis industry in 2014. She left her corporate management career and joined the cannabis industry to work for CV Sciences, a CBD manufacturer. After discovering a need for cannabis employee training, MJ combined her passion for sales training and cannabis education to develop the MJ Hybrid Training System.
With her 12 years of corporate sales expertise and 5 years of cannabis industry experience, MJ created a training for cannabis employees that is both scientifically accurate and helps employees better sell to customers. Her mission is to legitimize the cannabis industry through proper employee education and training.

Chris entered the cannabis industry after a successful career in banking, where he advanced to become a senior executive as the #2 in lending at his bank by the age of 34. Chris left the banking industry during the 2008 financial crisis after recognizing the emerging market opportunity and the softening politics around marijuana.
Since entering the cannabis space, Chris has successfully developed a few ventures from concept to exit. Most notably, he created and sold one of the largest retail delivery companies in cannabis (M Delivers/1-800-CANNABIS), a licensed store in San Diego (Apothekare), the first statewide and multi-state B2B wholesale distribution company (Calyx), and also a supply chain service that he took from concept to multi-state operation and public company (Driven).
Mr. Boudreau is Chair of the Board for The Cannabis Chamber of Commerce, and has been active serving on the Board of the California Cannabis Delivery Alliance, Chair of the Distribution Committee for California Cannabis Industry Association, on the Policy Committee for the California Distribution Association, and as an active member of CCIA, NCIA, and the NACB.
Liesl Bernard, CEO and President for CannabizTeam and CannabizTEMP, started her career as a Big 4 CPA with a specialized focus on organizational development. She has over 20 years of global executive search and placement experience working with Fortune 500 companies. Her passion for finding organizations exceptional talent and her solid understanding of the Cannabis Industry places her in the unique position to head up one of the fastest growing Executive Search and Staffing firms in the Cannabis and related industries.
